A lot happens in a week. I must get better at tracking it in advance of each Now post.
- I’ve had a tattoo for a week now. Will maybe share pictures later. Response from everyone has been positive.
- Nearing the end of Wizard and Glass which I’ve enjoyed once again. Not so sure about Crossroads of Twilight which I am within a couple of hours of finishing. Yet another book in The Wheel of Time series that doesn’t advance the story to any meaningful degree. It’s as if the author had more focus on writing than story.
- Finally finished series 1 of Silo. Still only half-way through Midsommar.
- The back lawn is starting to come good. Each time I’m out there I pull out a few more weeds. Next year I’d like to have it returned to full health.
- Have started my Complete photo cataloguing project with some success this morning. The first album of photos has dates as close as I can get them. I lucked onto a process of setting known dates and then, by relying on the photos being scanned in the same order as in the album, could fill in many of the gaps. It wasn’t perfect. I might have to invent a time machine to go back and date camera photos when printed.
- I purchased a few HCS Voice Packs for Elite: Dangerous. The will let me control the game via voice control and provide an injection of extra voices as I play. How could I go past Tom Baker? Unfortunately, the experience is limited. I only have a webcam mic at the moment and it spends most of its time picking up the sound from the speakers as well. I will have to look at a gaming headset.
- In game, made it to Colonia.
- Counting down the final 10½ days of work I have until I’m finished for the year.
