My daughter and I saw The Long Walk in the cinema yesterday and both enjoyed it. I first read the novella in December 1987 as I headed overseas to live as an exchange student in Denmark. Being about the same age as the protagonists the story hit deep and I’ve wanted to see a movie version every since. It was worth the wait.
