I have finished transferring Fleeting notes from Drafts1 to The Quantum Garden Vault Ideas page. There were several notes jotted in haste that I had trouble recalling what my intention was. One, I had to delete completely.
That short list, and the longer Ideas list already present, highlight the benefit of The 2-Minute Rule essentially says to take a couple of minutes to really think about what I’m deciding or in the case of an idea to write about, what the idea actually is and the context in which I thought of it.
By failing to take just a little time to add to my initial note I’ve cost my Future self who has had to try and understand what the hell I was thinking. Only I knew at the time what that was.
