I’ve just finished reading The Art of Happiness: A Handbook for Living by the Dalai Lama. Almost every section of the book had a 1:1 correlation between what the Dalai Lama was saying the the principles of Ontological coaching. That’s not surprising given both seek to help us to a better way of life. However, having read many ‘similar’ books in my time I was completely taken aback by the similarities.

So strongly in fact that I have to ask myself ‘Am I a Buddhist?’ for I could very well be—especially at the spiritual rather than the religious level.

It will take some time but I plan to link the two methods together. Each one strengthens the other. I’m not claiming at all that I have any sort of comprehension about Buddhism, but that there are enough similarities in my mind at the moment to offer some benefit to people familiar with either field. Often, a point of comparison, helps you understand where you are.
