I’ve been finishing my normal shower with as much cold water as I can take since watching an episode of Just One Thing with Michael Moseley where he advocates the benefits of 30 seconds of cold water each day.

“…with as much cold water as I can take” because the full-on cold is impossible. I cannot get my body to stay under the water and am at serious risk of flying through the shower screen to get out of the way.

I’m dropping down to tepid which is a long way from where my shower normally starts.

I do feel some benefit. I’ve certainly felt more awake this past week. 30 seconds at the end of a shower can easily be added to my routine.1 After all 30 Seconds of courage can change your life so how hard is a bit of cold water.
