If you’re a MindManager user then you know this already, but if you’re not MindJet have just released the latest version of their mind mapping product. I’ve been using MindManager 2002 Business Edition for some time now and like many others are caught in the middle of a very unusual software upgrade. The new X5 version is easy to use, looks good and improves on the previous version. If you are a first time user then you will no doubt like it. Don’t get me wrong, I like it too. MindJet however have left out many of the most useful features from the 2002 versions, including backwards compatibility for saving files. According to many of the posts on the MindManager Yahoo! forum past users (myself included) need both versions installed to be productive but it’s like having two products from different vendors.
