A couple of days ago on morning TV I saw a politician call for debate on no less than three separate issues. Of course this meant he wants the opportunity to prove his point of view rather than come to some sort of shared understanding of what might be beneficial for us all. I’m just glad he wasn’t asking for a “healthy debate”.
