Digital asset management

Digital asset management

6 January 2025†

Digital asset management (DAM) is the activity of actively curating and managing digital assets. Normally associated with Photography and video, DAM extends to music, ebooks, and other sets of files.

A core function of Digital asset management is the curation of Digital asset metadata.

I use IMatch for photos and videos, Calibre for ebooks, Plex and Jellyfin for video and Zotero for other documents. It can be difficult Organising digital knowledge across multiple systems.
