Yesterday I received in the mail a copy of the David Rhodes chain letter. It made me feel quite sad that some people can’t distinguish the scam yet put so much trust and hope into it.
In a number of days I was to be $70,000 richer if I followed the 3 pages of poorly photocopied instructions.
What I found funny was that the host of last night’s episode of [A Current Affair] (http://aca.ninemsn.com.au/) also received a copy of the letter. He was not impressed and reminded us all of the $22,000 fine imposed for sending chain letters, no matter what the instructions of this particular version claimed.
Still… 22K leaves a healthy $48K to play with.
