I used TheBrain: The Ultimate Digital Memory for many years as a note-taking tool. Notes were stored in a graph with parents, child and sibling relationships. TheBrain is a product I loved and still do, but moved away because of the way internal files where synced. They were impractical to manage across Windows and Mac file systems.
