The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe is a cheeky, satirical dig at video games and the people who play them. It makes fun of all the gaming tropes including dying and trophies. The narrator joins you on a self-aware game that knows exactly what it’s doing.

Once you get your first trophy, you get another trophy immediately for having got your first trophy and it goes on from there. Most trophies you will only know about by looking up how to complete the trophies in the game. One involves knocking 5 times on a door, only to have the narrator chastise you about trying for a trophy and upping the stakes.

I get what it’s saying and have chosen to lean into it. I have the Platinum Trophy and in line with the game’s ethos, checked the Commitment trophy for playing 24 hours on a Tuesday! Leaving the game running in pause is enough so I earned the Platinum trophy while doing nothing.
