I pulled this information together as part of considering if I should purchase RF or RF-S lenses. My Canon R50 uses RF-S but can also take RF. The R50 is a great starting point (and perfect for my budget at the time) but future-proofing my system is a consideration as it grows. I’m looking for an ultra-wide lens and think the RF-S 10-18mm is the best choice. I have a camera upgrade path to the with the same lenses if necessary in the future so I can be confident about staying with the lighter RF-S.
