The end of the year is drawing to a close. It’s possible you have one outstanding question to answer. That of, “What sound does a butterfly make?”
I was playing with my daughter in the back yard of our house. We had been singing Old McDonald Had A Farm and after progressing through the usual menangerie of cows, ducks, dogs, cats, tigers and fish a small white butterfly flew past.
I had found my muse and launched into the next verse.
Old McDonald had a farm<br/> E-I-E-I-O<br/> And on that farm he had a butterfly<br/> E-I-E-I-O
Without hesitation came the reply
With a butter, butter here,<br/> and a butter, butter there…
The precise answer I would never have come up with.
