The Enigma of the Knights Templar

The Enigma of the Knights Templar

Marilyn Hopkins. The Disinformation Company 2007, Hardcover, 144 pages, $6.50

The Knights Templar are an organisation shrouded in myth and controversy. Having gained recent popularity in the Dan Brown novel The Da Vinci Code, it is interesting to hear something of the real story behind them as told in the non-fiction  The Enigma of the Knights Templar. There is a rich history here which brings the Knights Templar away from mythical status into a grounded reality. The book’s illustrations are very helpful in building a picture of the past.

This is book 1/50 in my 50 book challenge (2009).

Wow, how interesting. I have often come across this organisation in my reading of historical fiction, this book sounds fascinating.
